Louis:
With the vases in different colors including light pink, pale yellow, orange yellow and green lake, I tried to create a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere with my work. The green leaves brought out the softness of the flowers, which reminds me that all the things in life will always have the starting role and supporting role. Only by collaborating with one another in harmony will create a perfect balance. I am really happy to participate in this floral arrangement event, and I feel it is not only an art, but also a great way for relaxation!

Shane:
The floral arrangement method taught by Mr. Yuzu was called ‘Light Wheel’ style, which means the work doesn’t need too much unnecessary add on decorations, but needs to show it’s most original appearance in front of the audience. My work has followed this method with minimum trimming on the branches to focus on the original beauty of the rose. This is my learning which was inspired by my first floral arrangement exercise. |

Stan:
I used a simple method to express my work. I took one rose and one orchard and displayed them in different directions. This kind of display may seem very sparse, but with the minimalism and simplicity, it will help to distinguish two different profiles of the flowers individually, as well as to show how beautiful they will look by displaying together. |

Albert:
What I wanted to do was to show as much glory of flowers as it can be in a small space. My concept was more towards complications. I felt monotonous work couldn’t show the gorgeous sense, that was why I chose various types of flowers in different size and color to ensure the work looking more magnificent. I also added larger size of lily leaves and immature buds to compliment the arrangement. |
Jessica:
The key color of my vase was beige with brown as the base. It is an Japanese style vase. The combination of pink jasmine and shiny little yellow flowers conveys a sense of curtness. My flower arrangement shows harmony, which brings a the sign of Spring in the Fall season. |

Maggie:
My floral arrangement experience this time was created from the sense of ‘Harmony’. At the same time, the clearness of ceramics also gave the silent flower a dynamic vitality. Power of beauty doesn’t need modification of words, and it doesn’t need to reply on the recognition of others. All we need to do is to use our heart to feel our work and treasure the moment we have with flowers. |

Joanna:
The work I was trying to express is a creative composition, which is expressed thru big pink flowers as the center to show the enthusiasm. The yellow sunflower and a few yellow petals brings out a bright background. Floral arrangement enables us to experience different possibilities, especially when the work is forming gradually itself which is very moving. |
